This policy explains what personal information Bejagadget (we, us, our) collects through bejagadget.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies whenever you browse the site, contact us or place an order.

The information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the shop:

• Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and shipping and billing addresses.
• Order details: the products you buy, your order history and the messages you exchange with our support team.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, referring URLs and the time of each visit.

Most of this information comes directly from you, when you place an order, create an account, sign up for emails or write to us. Technical data is gathered automatically, through cookies and similar tools, while you browse.

Payments

We accept Shop Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Elo, JCB, and UnionPay. Every payment is processed by Shopify Payments under PCI-DSS standards. Card numbers and payment credentials go directly to the payment processor; we never store full card details on our servers.

Why we use your information

• To take payment for, pack, ship, return and refund your orders.
• To answer your questions and keep you informed about your orders.
• To detect and prevent fraud and unauthorised transactions.
• To improve the site, our product range and our service.
• To meet our legal obligations.
• To send marketing emails, only if you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with third parties only as far as needed to operate the business:

• Shopify, the e-commerce platform that hosts our store.
• Payment processors, to handle transactions securely.
• Shipping carriers, to deliver your parcels.
• Analytics providers, to understand how the site is used and make it work better.

We may also disclose information where the law, a regulation or a legal process requires it, or to protect our rights, property or safety. We never sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to fulfil orders, provide support, meet legal requirements and resolve disputes. After that, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, and all data sent between your browser and our site is encrypted with SSL/TLS. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• Right to non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

This policy covers bejagadget.com only. The payment processor, the carriers and the other service providers named above handle the information they receive under their own privacy policies, and we choose them for their ability to protect it.
